There are certain musicians that make you wonder how one person can be gifted with so much talent. Larry Davis would be one of those artists. While his style is sophisticated and reserved, his music is none less than expressive and inspiring.

Larry holds a degree in Music Education with an emphasis in piano performance from Grambling State University. He is fluent in all keyboard instruments, saxophones and percussion. And he is also an accomplished singer, songwriter and producer. It is for these reasons that Larry has earned the title of "The Professor" of the Top band!

Larry has extensive experience in a variety of musical styles including Jazz, Gospel, Symphonic, Rhythm and Blues, Reggae and other progressive styles. Prior to joining Top, Larry was involved with several local acts as either a performer or producer. The list includes Linny Nance, Tom Braxton, Fingerprints, Bernard Wright, Don Diego, Rodney Bowens and Keith Anderson.

Larry has been a mainstay in the Dallas music scene for many years. His vast musical interests keep him quite busy. On any given day you can find him either in the studio playing background music for children’s "books-on-tape", producing and directing musical productions for the local theater or leading the choir at his church. This is a man who has truly mastered his musical talents!
