Joslin Keys Biography

Joslin was born in the peaceful country of Oman. He was exposed to music from a very young and tender age of 4. He started playing by ear, emulating his father and brother on the piano and soon began his formal lessons in classical piano. He studied under the academic curriculum of the royal school of music, London. Along side school, Joslin performed at many music talent events and competitions, grabbing the first place in all the events. In 1995 he was invited to perform and demonstrate live on electronic keyboards for Casio and YAMAHA inc. in collaboration with McDonald's.

Joslin then moved to the United States for higher education at the University of Toledo and then to further his music education at the University of North Texas, Denton. While there Joslin began composing and writing music, which would later end up becoming his first album, The Lone Traveler. His first album was released on Jan 16th 2006.

Joslin's style and compositions are said to be an amalgam of Yanni, David Foster, and John Tesh. His favorite artists are Michael Jackson, Sting, Phil Collins, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Andrew L Webber and Richard Clayderman and Yanni. His favorite composer is Mozart.

Joslin's second album, 'The Road ahead', was released on Jan 16th 2010. He has also released his first Christmas CD titled 'Emmanuel', an album with relaxing piano solos . He works with a lot of talented up and coming artists with whom he records, writes and performs on a regular basis. Other than working on his hair and golden 'tan' :) , Joslin now runs his own Recording Studio, JoslinMusic Studios and also teaches private piano and music lessons.
